You can also purchase tickets to the Top of the Rock observation deck at the Top of the Rock ticket office, which is open from 10 AM to 10 PM every weekday at 50th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues on the Concourse and at the NBC marquee.

Children under the age of 6 get in for free, while kids 6 and older will need their own ticket to enter the Top of the Rock.

You can get there by taking a stroll through Midtown so it won't cost you anything. However, if you are in another area of New York and you need to get there by taking a bus or subway, a single ticket is $2.75 for both.
