1. Express Pass ticket price

Pay a little more, about $60 for the Express Pass, and you'll get skip-the-line access and priority elevator access to the observation deck as well as a 20% discount at the Top of the Rock souvenir store.

2. Price of the VIP Ticket

For approximately $90 for the VIP Ticket you will enjoy a 45-minute private guided tour of the Top of the Rock as well as priority access to the observatory and private elevators during the visit.

You can also purchase tickets to the Top of the Rock observation deck at the ticket booths of the tourist attraction which is open from 10 AM to 10 PM every weekday at 50th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues on the Concourse and at the NBC marquee.

If you opt for this option, you will most likely have to keep long lines as it is a place of great tourist interest and you run the risk of not being able to book the time you want because there is no availability so my recommendation is that you simplify the process and save time by buying your tickets online.

4. Do children pay admission at Top of the Rock and can they save a little on their tickets?

Children under 6 years of age are free, while children over 6 years of age will need their own ticket to enter the Top of the Rock.

If you are looking to save a little on your budget, don't worry because there are reduced ticket rates for children ages 6 to 12 starting at 31€. I recommend you to take a look at them because you might be interested!

5. Are there any discounts to visit the Top of the Rock?

Visitors to Top of the Rock can take advantage of reduced rates that apply to certain age groups such as seniors 62 and older and children 6 to 12 years old.

From 65 € you can find options that include a visit to the Top of the Rock at Rockefeller Center if you are thinking of getting a tourist card to make the most of your stay in New York and see the Top of the Rock.

When entering this viewpoint with one that has it included you will have to go to the ticket office with the tourist pass to exchange it for a voucher that will allow you to access the viewpoint at the next available time or you can choose a date and time for another day if it suits you better.

You can get there by strolling around Midtown so it won't cost you anything. However, if you are in another area of New York and have to get there by bus or subway, a single ticket is $2.75 for both.
