Step by Step

Maybe some sweaty palms, definitely some adrenalin flow from being over 345 meters in the air.

Entering this award-winning skyscraper, you’ll jump on a lift that shoots you to the 100th floor in less than 60 seconds. When you arrive, take a breath and exit onto the glass floor. Don’t look down or do!  At 345 metres high, the Edge is the tallest open observatory in the Western Hemisphere. Its outdoor terrace, which is really the star of the building, is visited by thousands of tourists every year. And that should include you.

Located at the west end of Manhattan, the Edge observation deck will surprise you with its impressive views of the Hudson River. Its large windows open to an up close and personal look at some iconic landmarks including the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, Madison Square Garden and Downtown. If you’re wanting to get a real sense of the megacity that is New York , it’s time you went to the Edge.
