What to expect

Discover all that the British Museum in London has to offer with a private guided tour of around 2.5 hours. You will have an exclusive expert guide for those who join the tour at the time of booking.

Among the more than 8 million objects housed within its walls, these are some of the best works you can find in the British Museum:

  • Katebet Mummy: belonging to an old woman from 1300 BC.
  • Lewis Chessmen: a group of 82 medieval chess pieces from the 12th century.
  • Rosetta Stone: a stone that made it possible to decipher ancient Egyptian texts such as hieroglyphs.

On the guided tour you will discover a huge collection of 6000 years of human history including items from all over the world such as samurai armour, medals from different eras, remains of ancient civilisations and much more.

Your private guide will delve into the history of the museum's most important objects, primitive tribes and fallen empires. Thanks to this private experience you will be able to ask him all the questions you can think of throughout the tour.

Learn about the history of humanity in the third most visited museum in the world, after the Metropolitan Museum in New York and the Louvre in Paris. A visit that cannot be missed on your itinerary.

The duration of the tour was too short, barely enough time to enjoy everything. I was very sorry because I was left wanting more, we were really enjoying our visit to the museum.

One of the best museums I have visited, very complete in every sense, not only for the exhibitions but also for the interactive areas that give it a more special and distinctive touch from the others.

From the architecture of the building I didn't know if I was in a museum or if I was at Hogwarts. It is impressive how beautiful it is inside. I thought the dinosaur exhibit was spectacular. It was a very nice experience, hopefully I can go back in the not too distant future.

A very complete museum, with a very beautiful architecture and with many relics of history. It is very impressive to see these places in person, if you have the opportunity to go do not hesitate for a second, you will be surprised.
