Step by Step
How does the London Pass work?
After you buy, your digital pass and full instructions are emailed to you.Show the pass on your phone at each attraction, or print it out if you prefer.
You’ll also get a link in your booking voucher to download the official mobile app. From the app you can:- See every attraction included in your pass- Manage bookings for the most popular sights- Keep all the info you need in one place to get the most out of your pass
How do I activate the pass?
Your pass activates the first time you use it at an attraction. That calendar day counts as “Day 1”.
Time is counted in full calendar days, not in hours:each day ends at 00:00 (midnight), and the days are consecutive.
From the date of purchase, you have 1 year to use your pass for the first time and activate it.
What are the benefits of the pass?
The London Pass gives you access to 100+ top sights and landmarks in the city for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 10 consecutive days.
Instead of buying separate tickets for each place, you pay one fixed price and can visit as many included attractions as you like from the list.
Do some attractions require advance booking?
Yes. Some attractions do require a booking in advance.
You don’t have to choose what to visit when you buy the pass, but after it’s activated you may find that some time slots are already full.
To avoid this, check opening hours and availability before you activate your pass and plan your visit. You can do this in the official app or by following the instructions in your confirmation email.
Does the pass include activities as well as monuments and museums?
Yes. As well as major monuments, your pass can include experiences such as:- London Eye- A cruise on the River Thames- The Big Bus sightseeing bus tour…and more options.
Do children need a pass?
Yes. Children need their own pass.
There’s a bigger discount for child passes (ages 5–15), and children under 5 don’t need a pass at all, which makes it an even better deal for families.
