March is the last month of high season in the city, and that means that this month is full of cultural and artistic fairs such as the Dubai International Horse Fair or the Dubai Gold Festival, but if adrenaline is your thing, you can't miss exclusive and exciting plans such as the wind tunnel, a helicopter ride or going on board a hot air balloon. Looks good, doesn't it?

1. Test your adrenaline in Dubai's wind tunnel

If you're keen to try skydiving but aren't quite sure about it and are keen on flying activities, start by trying out the wind tunnel in Dubai. When you book your wind tunnel experience you will ascend to 4 meters high with the help of air jets and you can do all the flips and turns you want.

The best thing about this plan? It is suitable for the whole family and you will also have the individualized assistance of an instructor. In short, you will believe you are flying, but all in a safe and professional way. Do you dare?

Imagine seeing from above the city's artificial islands, luxury hotel complexes and skyscrapers such as the Burj Khalifa, all in contrast to Dubai's impressive mosques.

Without a doubt, taking a helicopter flight in Dubai over the sky of the capital of the United Arab Emirates is a highly recommended plan that you should not miss.

The weather in Dubai in March is quite pleasant, although it is far from the spectacular weather that embraces the city in the winter months, it is an ideal climate to attend pool parties, swim in the city's beaches and make evening plans. Average minimum temperatures are 25°C and usually do not exceed 36°C as the maximum temperature.

Rainfall during this month in Dubai is almost non-existent, so don't worry about the rain issue.

The truth is that March is perhaps the best month for those who want to enjoy tolerable temperatures and interesting activities without having to pay so much money compared to other months of the year such as December in Dubai or January in Dubai.

However, if you are looking to pay less than in the month of March, in that case it would be advisable to look for the months of June, July or August, although in that case you would have to go very prepared to face the high temperatures.

Is March the best month for swimming?

In theory the best months for swimming in Dubai are March, April and May. As you move months to your right the average maximum and minimum temperatures tend to rise; hence the answer to the question will depend on your particular tastes.

Therefore, I recommend you to know better how is Dubai in April and how is Dubai in May, to have a more complete idea before deciding on the month, as long as you have a choice.

Of course, in general, in the month of March you don't usually go to the beach as much as in the months of April and May. If you live in Spain or by the Mediterranean we could compare March with the end of May or June; and the months of April and May with July and August respectively. What you can do in March is a cruise in the Dubai Marina; at least you will get rid of the desire for water and you will be refreshed by the sea breeze without being cold.
