What are the must-see excursions from Paris?

If you are going to Paris for several days, don't hesitate to visit Disneyland Paris. This is the star excursion. Keep in mind that some people make the trip to the theme park without even passing through the city of Paris. This gives you an idea of the importance of this destination.

Another option is to visit the Palace of Versailles, one of the most important palaces in the world, where you will learn about the splendor of the French monarchy before its decline. In addition, although it is a longer excursion, I recommend visiting the castles of the Loire, a fairytale region, or the Abbey of Mont Saint-Michel, which dates back to the 10th century and is visited by more than three and a half million people every year. If you are looking for something more unusual, be sure to check out more original visits such as the excursion to Fontainebleau and the Château de Vaux Le Vicomte.

And if you are an art lover, don't miss a visit to Giverny, where you can delve into the work of Monet, as well as a visit to Chantilly, which houses one of the finest collections of classical paintings after the Louvre.

We had a fantastic time on this private Champagne day trip with our family — myself, my wife and our two young kids (ages 6 and 3). From start to finish, everything ran smoothly. Our driver picked us up right from our hotel, was super friendly, spoke great English and was wonderfully accommodating to our little ones. The pacing of the day felt just right, especially with kids in tow. While some travelers might want more time for shopping or exploring independently, we appreciated the efficient flow — it kept the kids engaged and avoided meltdowns. The champagne houses were beautiful and unique in their own ways, and we (the parents!) especially enjoyed the tastings and the stunning cellars. Surprisingly, our kids had a blast too — they loved exploring the caves and sipping on delicious apple juice provided as an alternative. Lunch was tasty, though service was a bit slow due to short staffing — nothing major and it gave us a nice break. Overall, this was a memorable experience and I’d definitely recommend it to other parents considering a more grown-up excursion with little ones. Just be sure to bring some activities like sketch pads, games or small toys to keep them busy during the longer stretches.

This was an exceptional tour! Our guide, Max, was truly an expert with perfect descriptions giving us just the right amount and type of information we needed. His demeanor was truly professional as he navigated our group through the maze of rooms and people while being courteous to other visitors and guides. Impressive day.

The experience was fan! Anais, our guide, was very knowledgeable and mindful of her guests’ well being. We came in 15 minutes late due to problem with transport booking with Bolt; so the bus having a problem was a divine providence to us rather than a bothersome incident. Citywonders is highly recommendable! You may use this citation / commendation for your promotion purposes. My family is pleased for a wonderful experience.
