Among the best things to do in Tenerife you should definitely include a visit to an amusement park. Many of them have roller coasters, very high slides, fun areas that resemble a jungle and much more. Each park has a different theme that you are sure to love.

While some parks transport you to a jungle full of animals or water adventures, others are more tranquil. In Tenerife you will find simple parks with slides, little trains and mechanical cars. These are ideal for parents to relax in a restaurant while the kids are having fun. In Tenerife you will find all kinds of parks!

Monkey Park is a zoo where you will find many monkeys of different species. The main attraction of this park is that you can go inside and pet the lemurs and marmosets. Children love to interact with these curious little animals.

Inside this park you will find several touch areas where you can touch the smaller monkeys that are not dangerous. My recommendation is that you don't try to pick them up or pet them because they generally don't like it. If you just go in and watch them or talk to them for a while, they will gradually come closer to you, they will even climb on your shoulder!

For more interaction with the monkeys you can offer them food. Never give them bread or cookies! In the park you will find boxes with special vegetables and greens for these animals. Keep in mind that taking care of their diet is vital for their health. Besides, if you give them something they like, they will surely run to you.

You can visit this park at any time of the year. Tickets cost an average of 10 € and the opening hours are from 9:30 in the morning until 4 in the afternoon. No doubt you will have a nice and quiet time interacting and learning about nature and the animal kingdom.
