Discover some of the main attractions of southern Italy with this two-day tour to Naples, Pompeii, Sorrento (where you spend the night) and Capri. In a fully equipped bus with a maximum of 35 passengers, you'll have the opportunity to see part of the Amalfi Coast as well as the Roman city that was eventually buried by the lava of Vesuvius.
The tour includes pick-up from selected hotels or, failing that, from a previously agreed meeting point. On the first day, you will visit Naples and Pompeii and spend the night in a hotel in Sorrento. The second day, except in winter, will be dedicated to visiting Capri and finishing the tour in Sorrento.

Step by Step
This tour gives you the opportunity to take advantage of your stay in Rome to see some of the main attractions of Southern Italy in a fully organised way.
After picking you up at your hotel (if it is one of the selected hotels) or at the agreed meeting point, the bus with the tour leader will depart for Naples for a journey of about 1 hour and a half.
In addition to Naples, the first day will be dedicated to visiting the ruins of Pompeii and Sorrento on the Amalfi Coast, where you will have dinner and spend the night.
On the second day you will travel to the island of Capri to visit the spectacular Blue Grotto (this visit is not available in winter, when you will spend the day exploring Sorrento). In the afternoon, return to Rome.
Get to know some of the curiosities of the route you will take:
- Naples: in this southern Italian city you will have the opportunity to visit places like Vomero, a hill from which you will have the best views of Naples.
- Pompeii: depending on the date, you will be able to visit the archaeological site of Pompeii with a local guide or with an audio guide. This ancient Roman city was buried by lava after the eruption of Vesuvius in the year 79, a circumstance that has allowed the remains to be wonderfully preserved.
- Sorrento: one of the towns that forms part of the so-called Amalfi Coast. Here you will be assisted by an assistant who will help you to get to know the city.
- Capri (except between November and March): the island of Capri is one of the most beautiful destinations in Italy. Among other activities, you can visit the Blue Cave and enjoy the colours caused by the sunlight in the grotto and the water.
In addition to the overnight stay in Sorrento, the tour includes one breakfast, two lunches and one dinner. In the afternoon of the second day, the bus will return to Rome.
