What do organized tours usually include
- Round-trip transportation by air-conditioned bus

- Food and beverages
- The tour does not include the elevator to the bottom of the mine.
Do children pay admission to the Wieliczka Salt Mines?
When we think of activities to do with the family, we usually imagine an outdoor place where children can play, run and jump. Maybe at first, a mine doesn't seem like the ideal place to take a trip with children, but nothing could be further from the truth.
In fact, being such an atypical and different place, a visit to the Wieliczka Salt Mine is something they will always remember - it's not every day that you get the chance to go deep into the earth!
In addition, the Wieliczka Salt Mine Tour is open to children of any age and admission is free for children up to 4 years old. All other children must have their own ticket.
Believe me, they will have a great time feeling like Tadeo Jones for a day exploring inside a very old medieval mine and listening to all the legends that circulate around it. You will see a lot of subway chambers and galleries, curious rock formations, beautiful salt lakes, amazing sculptures and you will learn about the hard work of the miners. You will love it!
