Step by Step

Visit the interior of the Church of the Society of Jesus in Cuzco on your own with these tickets. When you book, you will select a day for your visit, but not a time, as you will be able to enter at the time of your choice, within the opening hours.

This church is a clear example of the Spanish baroque architecture that can be seen in Peru. It was built in the 16th century, so it has clear traits of this style, such as its ornate façade and the large amount of gold decorations inside.

The Church of the Society of Jesus is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site , so it is advisable to visit it, both inside and outside.

Once inside, you will be able to get a close-up view of its great central altar, which takes centre stage in the room. Even so, its most important work and relic is the statue of the Virgin of the Immaculate Conception.

The entrance also allows you to climb up to the bell tower. Thanks to its height, you will be able to see the city of Cuzco at your feet, which was once the centre of the Inca Empire.

It was a very welcoming and enjoyable visit. Although I expected to find something different inside the church, it was worth going for what I learned and for the time I spent. Recommended visit.
