Step by Step

An evening cruise is the perfect way to visit the Vietnamese capital. The tour is complemented by a local guide and a typical dinner (with set menu), accompanied by traditional music and dances. The activity lasts about 4 hours and allows you to admire the following illuminated monuments:

  • Ben Thanh Market - One of the most famous tourist attractions in Ho Chi Minh City. You can find everything from local ingredients to clothes, jewellery and sunglasses.
  • Central Post Office - Opened in the late 19th century, this is a splendid example of French colonial architecture. It was designed by Gustave Eiffel and is recognisable by its arched windows.
  • The Landmark 81 - A skyscraper designed by Atkins, a company specialising in large-scale projects. It houses hotels, shopping malls and housing. It is the tallest and most luxurious building in the capital.
  • Jade Emperor Pagoda - The main place of worship for Taoists and Buddhists. It was built in the early 20th century by emigrants from China's Guangzhou province.
  • City Hall - Another notable example of colonial architecture. Its neo-Renaissance façade is adorned with a bell tower reminiscent of those in northern France.
  • Saigon Opera House - Inspired by the Petit Palais in Paris, it was built during French rule for performances by the local elite.

In addition, the river cruise includes pick-up and drop-off at your hotel. You can also go to the meeting point that will be indicated to you after completing your booking.

The cruise and the service definitely get 5 stars, the only thing was that the dinner was not to my liking, I made a bad choice. The only thing is that the dinner was not to my liking. I only comment on that detail, ask what each dish comes with before ordering.
