Step by Step

This tour lasts approximately 6 hours and takes you to the Cu Chi district. Here, beneath the surface, a network of tunnels created and used for war purposes extends. It is a complete activity, including hotel pick-up, a local guide, transport by air-conditioned bus and drinks (tea, bottled water and tapioca).

When booking, you can choose between a morning or afternoon tour. You also have the opportunity to choose between three options: small group, normal group or VIP (small group + limousine transfer).

This underground labyrinth is located about 30 km from Ho Chi Minh City and saw the light of day in the 1940s, when the Vietnamese were fighting for the country's liberation from French colonialism. Later, the same tunnels were used by the Viet Cong to fight the US army.

After many years of conflict, this system of tunnels reached a total length of 250 km, stretching all the way to the Cambodian border. Only a small part of it can be visited, but you can get an idea of how difficult it was to move around and at the same time how easy it was to reach sensitive military installations.

The expert guide will tell you about the most significant events in Cu Chi, such as the Tet Offensive, a surprise attack launched by the North Vietnamese army and the Viet Cong. The aim was to hit simultaneously the main military bases in the south of the country and was carried out during the ceasefire stipulated on the occasion of the Vietnamese New Year.

If you go to Vietnam and have the opportunity to visit this place. I think with all the history they have of world knowledge, it is almost mandatory auqneu say is to see the tunnels of Cu Chi. I think they speak for themselves, you will not regret it.
