Step by Step

Experience a 1 day excursion to Samana from Punta Cana and be amazed by the coastal landscapes of the northeast of the Dominican Republic. The tour will be led by a professional guide who will take you to tropical places such as:

  • Samana Bay: pool coral and seagrass meadows and patches of mangrove cays. Between the season of January and March you will be able to see humpback whales. The trip usually takes 1 hour or 2 hours during whale season.
  • Salto El Limón: one of the most famous waterfalls on the island, where you will take a horseback ride along the Arroyo Chico River. You will be amazed by the vegetation of the area and you will get to know the crystal clear and fresh waters of the waterfall.
  • Cayo Levantado: take a boat trip to the also known Bacardi Island. Upon arrival you will enjoy a delicious typical meal with beans, rice, meat, salad, fresh fruit, coffee and unlimited drinks (open bar). You will have free time to sunbathe on the beach.
  • Las Cañitas: small coastal village located very close to Sabana de la Mar.

The excursion includes transportation to and from your hotel in Punta Cana in a comfortable bus.
