Step by Step

The Liberty Science Center is one of the most innovative and comprehensive science centres in the United States. Located in Jersey City's Liberty State Park, this 300,000-square-foot museum offers an unforgettable experience for curious children and adults alike.

Upon entering, interactive exhibits ranging from robotics and biology to engineering and astronomy await. Visitors can touch, taste and experiment with science in a fun, educational and accessible way. In addition, the centre's staff perform live demonstrations that amaze and inspire.

While this general admission ticket does not include access to the Jennifer Chalsty Planetarium - the largest in the Western Hemisphere - you'll have the opportunity to explore a host of other attractions, including shark aquariums, wind simulators, sensory rooms and even an indoor climbing wall.

For the little ones, there are adapted play areas that combine entertainment with stimulating scientific thinking. And for everyone, the museum offers the chance to learn about current issues such as climate change, space exploration and viruses.

As if that weren't enough, from outside the museum you can enjoy spectacular views of the Statue of Liberty, thanks to its privileged location facing the Hudson River. Ideal to complement your visit with a stroll through Liberty State Park.
