Step by Step

Because Savannah is not a very big city, this tram tour will allow you to see all the iconic sights it has to offer. Not only will you get to see these places, but you'll also learn about them from the narration on the trolley.

The route is also stop-free. This means that you can get off at the established tram stops, of which there are about 15, and get back on at any of the next trams that pass by. This service is available for as long as the trams are in operation on the day of your booking. Please note that the total route, without stops, takes about 2 hours.

This tour is designed to highlight Savannah's most important landmarks. Some of the most important of these include:

  • Forsyth Park: the largest park in the city.
  • Colonial Park Cemetery: Old cemetery, which today is located inside a park.
  • Cathedral of St. John the Baptist: a Romanesque Catholic architectural masterpiece
  • City Market: an open-air market in operation since the 1700s

As you can see there are monuments of great antiquity as the origins of the city go back to the colonists. After their arrival on the mainland, they established Savannah as a port city, which meant that trade was always very present in the city and its inhabitants.
