The USS Midway is huge and very interesting. At times it was hot in some of the indoor areas, but it was a great experience.

I liked the fact that it wasn’t just about looking at objects, but about exploring real areas of the aircraft carrier. It has a lot of character.

The direct access was convenient and the audio guide worked well. The aeroplanes on the deck are spectacular for photos and for learning.

The museum is lovely, but I’d recommend wearing comfortable shoes as there’s quite a bit of walking involved. We left feeling tired, but happy.
