Step by Step

A self-guided bike tour of the Haleakala Volcano in Maui will allow you to save one of the most spectacular images of the island in your mind. You'll see the sunrise from the top of the volcano, more than 3,000 metres above sea level.

Getting to this privileged spot will be easy. You'll climb comfortably in an air-conditioned vehicle that will drop you off at the exact spot to enjoy the spectacle. You will then watch the sun rise over the mountains of Maui.

The descent down the side of the volcano will be done on a state-of-the-art mountain bike. An expert local guide will accompany the group at all times, but you can go at your own pace .

Along the way you will have the opportunity to stop for a break, have a bite to eat, take some souvenir photos or visit a town along the way. The towns that the tour passes through are the historic town of Makawao and the town of Haiku.

You can also bring your own food and take a break in this stunning natural setting. All equipment is included in the tour price: bike, safety helmet, warm clothes and backpack to store your belongings.

    It was a very beautiful experience, the sunrise was amazing and the tour was quite complete and entertaining. Recommended to do it once, the tour can be a bit tiring, but it is worth it.
