If you like to visit bars and drink cocktails or new beers, I recommend taking a pub crawl in Dallas. To make it even more entertaining, you can book this experience with a professional guide who will tell you all about the ghosts of Dallas. This city hides many horror stories that you will surely enjoy more if you are in the places where they happened.

Between each story you will visit at least four pubs for almost three hours. One of them is the Green Door Public House. This is a very popular bar and restaurant in the area serving American style food. You can also stop by the Harwood Tavern where you can enjoy a more classic bar atmosphere.

In addition to entering these types of bars, the professional guide will tell you stories of the ghost of Lady White Rock, the spirits that live in the Adolphus Hotel and the Majestic Theater. If you don't want to hire a private service, you can walk around these areas guided by Google Maps.

Many people prefer to tour the cities they visit during the day. However, if you didn't have time during the day, you can easily do it at night. This way you can even get a different view of the city.

I recommend that you take a walking tour of downtown Dallas. This way you can pass by iconic sites such as the John F. Kennedy Memorial Plaza. You can also stop by the Sixth Floor Museum where the president was shot. However, you should go earlier in the day if you want to visit this museum.

You can also stroll through Dealey Plaza, the site where President Kennedy was assassinated. All this part of the city is full of stories that you can relive as you walk around.

However, if you do not know much about the most touristic sites of the city and do not know very well its historical events, I recommend that you hire a professional guide. This way you will be able to get to the sites more quickly and if you have private transportation, it will be easier and more comfortable for you.

If you want to go to other areas of Dallas you can use some of the transportation offered by Dallas Area Rapid Transit.
