Step by Step

Immerse yourself in Scotland's countryside with this 3-day tour to the Isle of Skye and the Highlands from Edinburgh. On this tour, a local guide will accompany you to explain the history of the area and show you some breathtaking sights. Don't worry about transport, as an air-conditioned vehicle will pick you up from Edinburgh and transfer you to the different points of the tour.

On this tour, which allows groups of around 28 people, around the Isle of Skye, Inverness and the Highlands, you'll discover why so many films were shot in these parts of Scotland, with sights that inspired films such as Harry Potter (Glenfinnan Viaduct) and James Bond (Glencoe) to name but a few.

You'll be spoilt for choice for the perfect photo opportunity:

  • Stirling Castle: this castle has been likened to "a huge brooch linking the Highlands and Lowlands". From atop a volcanic outcrop, the castle watched over the lower pass of the River Forth for centuries. Today it remains a great symbol of Scottish independence and national pride.
  • Loch Ness: get your camera ready to try and photograph Nessie. Loch Ness is one of those destinations that appeals to everyone from children enchanted by Nessie to adults interested in photography, hiking and much more.
  • Inverness Castle: one of Scotland's greatest treasures built in the 19th century of sandstone. It was Shakespeare's inspiration for the tragedy of Macbeth.
  • Isle of Skye: is the best known of the Highlands, and the most impressive for its incredible scenery, especially the most hidden places. It is also known as the Isle of Fairies.

It should be noted that entrance fees to the various monuments are not included in this tour. During each stop, you will be given free time to visit some of the attractions. Also, for this tour you will need accommodation, which is not included, for a two-night stay in the city of Inverness.
