Step by Step

Set off on one of Málaga’s most famous trails on a nearly full-day excursion to the Caminito del Rey, situated an hour from Granada.

A local guide will accompanyyou on this tour, where you’ll walk along a natural footbridge 105 metres high, situated directly above the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes, a canyon carved out by the River Guadalhorce.

The Caminito del Rey has been open to the public since 2015 and has become one of Andalusia’s main attractions and one of the finest natural footpaths in Southern Europe.

The area is characterised by its rich variety of flora and fauna; you may be surprised to see mountain birds flying nearby, such as the griffon vulture, the golden eagle or the honey buzzard.

You may also come across various species of amphibians and reptiles, such as the ocellated lizard, the common grass snake or the viperine snake.
