This was the birthplace of Karol Wojtyla, Pope John Paul II. Discover the story of a shy boy who became the head of the Vatican with a professional guide on a tour of Pope John Paul II's hometown.

Upon arrival in Wadowice, you will find several monuments and statues in the market square honouring the memory of Archbishop Karol Wojtyla. The square is named John Paul II Square in his honour.
