From Tokyo you will travel approximately 2 hours to the city of Nikko. With your guide you will enjoy the natural wonders of Nikko National Park and head to the Toshogu Shrine, with its impressive wood carvings and decorations. This 17th century temple is the resting place of the first Tokugawa shogun, one of the most important figures in Japanese history. Inside the shrine you can see carvings of charming animals such as cats, monkeys and dragons.

Appreciate the beauty of this World Heritage Site while listening to interesting stories and legends about this building and the former Tokugawa leyasu shogun from your guide.
