In this experience, in which you can choose whether to take lunch or not, you will ride several means of transport to go comfortably to the different places included in the activity. These are:
- Luxury bus to go from Tokyo to the fifth station of Mount Fuji, located about 20 kilometres away.
- Cruise to navigate the waters of Lake Ashi.
- Cable car to take you to the top of Mount Komagatake to see Hakone National Park and Mount Fuji.
- Bullet train, or "Shinkansen", from Mount Fuji Station to Tokyo, which can take up to an hour.
During this tour you will visit the Fifth Station of Mount Fuji, one of the most popular starting points and the highest that can be reached by vehicle. It is located at 2,305 metres from where you can see the majestic mountain, the highest in Japan at 3,776 metres. It is considered one of the most recognisable symbols of Japan and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
During the cruise on Lake Ashi you will see picturesque scenery as it is formed in the caldera of Mount Hakone, a dormant volcano, and is surrounded by beautiful mountains and forests. It is also home to Hakone National Park, which you can admire by taking a cable car to the top of Mount Komagatake.
One of the highlights of this tour is the bullet train ride. The "Shinkansen" connects Japan's major cities and is capable of travelling at speeds of up to 320 km/h.
