A horseback ride in the mountains with lunch in Crete will allow you to get away from the routine of sightseeing during your trip and enjoy an original and relaxing plan. You will spend the morning in the mountains of Finikia and Giouchtas, an ideal place with steep slopes to get some fresh air.

It doesn't matter if you have never ridden a horse before, this activity is suitable for all levels. Before you start, you will receive a short basic riding training session so that you will be able to go more relaxed during the ride. That's why it's also an ideal activity for the whole family.

You will be accompanied at all times by an expert local guide, who will be on hand to provide you with relevant information throughout the ride. He or she will also be on hand to help you with any technical riding issues you may have. The ride will last approximately one and a half hours up and the same time down.

Once at the top, you will have some free time to admire the views and take some stunning souvenir photos. From the top you will be able to see the sleeping mountain of the Greek god Zeus. During the break you can enjoy a refreshment to recharge your batteries.

At the end of the walk, back at the stables, it will be time to taste the Cretan cuisine in a delicious traditional lunch accompanied by local wine. After lunch, you will have some more riding time or free time before finishing the activity.
