The bus follows a comprehensive 12-stop itinerary that will take you to the most iconic sights and monuments throughout the city. You can hop on and off as many times as you like at any of these stops for the duration of your pass, which will be activated with the first use.
On board the bus, between stops, you'll hear information about the different places you'll pass through on the audio guide. It's a great way to make the most of the journey and learn more about Salzburg's history and culture.
For even more enjoyment, there is a special 'Sound of Music' channel where you can listen to commentary on locations related to the filming of the movie 'The Sound of Music', which was filmed in the city.
The bus is air-conditioned and has an enclosed lower deck and an open-air upper deck. With your ticket you have access to both areas, the choice is yours.
Please note that during the main season (15 March to 14 January), buses run every 30 minutes, and during the low season (15 January to 14 March), buses run every 45 minutes.
