Step by Step

With the Salzburg Card you will have the opportunity to make the most of your visit to the city. The first thing to do is to select the duration of your card. Depending on how much time you have available, you can choose between a tourist card with 24, 48 or 72 hours validity.

It gives you access to all the city's attractions, landmarks and museums. Please note that you will only be able to access each of these places once. In addition, some of them may include priority access so you won't have to wait in line when you arrive.

To make getting around the city quicker and more convenient, the card includes unlimited access to all public transport. This also includes the Festungsbahn funicular, the Untersbergbahn lift, the Mönchsberg lift and the Tour I along the Salzach River.

Remember to complete the back of the Salzburg Card before using public transport for the first time. In addition, you will find many other discounts on cultural events, concerts and other excursions that may be of interest to you during your trip.

There are several redemption points around the city where you can pick up your card. Once activated at the first activity, it will start counting time for the selected number of consecutive hours.
