Step by Step

This tour is completely private, only you and your companions will participate. Throughout the tour you will be accompanied by a professional tour guide who will give you his undivided attention. He will board the ferry with you and explain the history of Liberty Island and Ellis Island for the next 5 hours or so.

This tour covers a visit to the Statue of Liberty, where you will also enter the new Statue of Liberty Museum. You will learn all about this worldwide symbol of freedom, what it means and all the history behind it.

On the other hand, Ellis Island contains the history of thousands of immigrants who arrived there years ago with the intention of fulfilling their American dream. This is why the Immigration Museum is located inside.

Due to current legislation, the guide cannot accompany you inside the museums, but he or she will provide you with the necessary information on the outside so that you can make the most of the visits on your own.

Also, don't forget that, from the islands and from the ferry itself, you'll be able to see the panoramic view of New York. You'll be able to photograph the most famous skyline in the world to take home as a souvenir forever.

I am a photographer and I was interested in taking the solo tour because I wanted to have the whole panorama and vary with the shots between each photograph, I admit that I got a little distracted, the guide stayed by my side all the time attentive and when she saw that I took a good picture like the one I took of the Statue of Liberty, she started to tell me interesting stories, it was worth the distraction without a doubt.

Inevitable not to find yourself interested in everything you see and that the guide is telling you during the tour, he has a great to keep you attentive listening to him. Incredible.

My husband is a history buff in general, he was interested in visiting the freedom museum and we decided to take the trip just the two of us to enjoy it without distractions. Being able to also visit the immigration museum made him love it twice as much.
