The 4-hour tour begins with an introduction to the history and cultural influence of Harlem. Your expert guide will take you through the historic streets, while telling you about the music, art and social movements that have shaped this neighbourhood over the years. You'll learn about Harlem's importance in African-American history and its role in the cultural renaissance of the 1920s.

As you explore Harlem, you'll visit several local restaurants and establishments to sample a variety of traditional dishes. Sample soul food, a cuisine that combines African and African-American ingredients, such as fried chicken, macaroni and cheese and collard greens.
