Step by Step

Experience one of Nashville's richest estates with incredible Italianate architecture with your entrance to Belmont Manor. You'll be able to enter directly, bypassing the long lines, and tour all areas at your leisure at any time of the day.

As you tour the mansion, you will meet guides at strategic points who can tell you about the history behind its construction and its imposing architecture. You will see the rooms that have been restored in the style of an Italian villa and the exhibition of furniture, statues and works of art.

The mansion has served as temporary accommodation for many wealthy 19th century personalities, such as Adelicia Acklen, one of the pre-war millionaires of the South. Then take a tour of the stunning rose garden and grounds of the mansion, which is now part of Belmont University, considered one of the most beautiful campuses in the United States.

If you're a lover of history and architecture, this tour is a must on your trip to Nashville.

More than we expected. Yes, it is an old house and that was interesting. But the history of Nashville, Louisiana, slavery and Union soldiers was fascinating.
