This option is perfect if you plan to travel around the city and its surroundings with a rental car. You will be able to take the route you prefer and, if you are not too tired from the flight, you can take a short walk before arriving at your hotel. Of course, you must have a driver's license. This is undoubtedly a very good way to get into Valencia.

Since there are many car rental agencies in Valencia, if you have not made your reservation before traveling, you can easily approach any of the windows at the airport. It is a very practical option. There you can choose the vehicle you want, according to the number of people and the amount of luggage.

As always, each option will depend on the type of trip you make, if you have a lot of luggage or if you are traveling with children, but undoubtedly, the metro is always a good ally for less bulky budgets. Easy to use and economical, you only have to go to Xátiva station, which is located in the center of Valencia.

The ticket costs approximately 4.90 euros per person, and the total journey takes just 20 minutes. You can use any of the two metro lines that reach the airport. Both the red (line 3) and the green (line 5) will drop you off at Xátiva. Keep in mind that as it is a public transport you will have to carry your own luggage. There are usually many people who choose this option, so be patient.

Of course, because of all this, it is not a very recommendable option if you are carrying a lot of luggage or if you are traveling with a large family group. Trains depart every 15 minutes

Of course, you can also make this trip on board a bus. The line that runs between the airport and the city is the 150. It is the cheapest option of all, the ticket costs from 1.45 euros per person. As there are not too many intermediate stops (only Manises, Mislata and Quart de Poblet), you will be in the center of Valencia in about 30 minutes.

If you are one of those who do not want to spend too much, this option is perfect. You will have to be patient, since the frequency is every 30 minutes on weekdays and 40 on Saturdays. On Sundays there is no service. You will have to get off at Plaza España, meters away from the Central Market (Mercat Central), one of the most traditional markets in Valencia, where you can get all kinds of fresh food.

If you decide to transfer from the airport by bus, keep in mind that you will have to deal with carrying the luggage yourself, and being a public service it may not be as comfortable as other options.
