This experience combines the best of two visits in one: on the one hand, a guided tour of the exterior of the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao and, on the other, the chance to explore the interior on your own at your leisure. This is a perfect option for those who want to understand the architectural value of the building before entering its rooms and exhibitions.

For approximately 1 hour, an expert guide will accompany you around the outside of the museum and explain the secrets of this masterpiece designed by Frank Gehry. Its organic forms, its titanium panels and its integration with the urban environment have made it one of the most recognisable buildings in contemporary architecture.

Along the tour you will also discover the most iconic sculptures surrounding the museum, such as Puppy, the huge floral dog by Jeff Koons, and Mama, the striking chandelier by Louise Bourgeois. You'll also learn how the opening of the Guggenheim in 1997 marked a before and after in Bilbao, driving its urban transformation and its international projection.

At the end of the outdoor guided tour, you will enter the interior of the museum with your ticket included and you will be able to explore the museum at your own pace, spending as much time as you like on its collections and exhibitions.
