Step by Step
The tour begins in front of Casa Batlló, where the façade already offers a glimpse into Gaudí’s imaginative world. Its undulating balconies, vibrant colours and forms inspired by the marine world make the exterior a true statement of intent even before you step through the door.
Once inside, you’ll tour the main rooms of the house accompanied by a guide. You’ll learn how the Batlló family lived in the early 20th century and discover spaces such as the main floor, the grand salon overlooking Passeig de Gràcia, the dining room and the Modernist courtyard.
The tour continues through the inner courtyard, dominated by shades of blue that heighten the sensation of being underwater, until you reach the famous dragon-adorned roof terrace. There, you can admire the chimneys decorated with trencadís and discover how Gaudí transformed functional elements into true sculptures.
At the end of the tour, you’ll enter the Gaudí Cube, a 360° immersive experience designed to take you inside the architect’s creative mind through images, shapes and visual stimuli.
If you’d like to extend the experience, you can add a ticket to the White Rabbit Museum. This attraction offers a different perspective on Barcelona through contemporary installations inspired by the city’s culture, symbols and identity, providing a unique complement to the Modernist tour of Casa Batlló.
