Choose 1 of 3 activity alternatives: the first is the standard excursion, the second also includes a quad tour and the last one is the excursion with final transport to Fez so you can continue your adventure from there.
Accompanied by an expert guide, you'll tour the desert and enjoy a 2-hour camel ride. In addition, the activityincludes breakfast and dinner. Accommodation is also included for the 2 nights of the tour. On the first day you will sleep in a hotel near the town of Tinghir. The place to sleep on the second day will surprise you, as it will be in a camp in the middle of the desert.
Merzouga is considered the pearl of the Sahara desert in Morocco. Its mountainous landscapes and striking dunes attract thousands of tourists every year. They also function as an ideal romantic activity, as this panorama offers sunsets and a very peculiar orange colour of the landscape.
In this desert we can also find a wide variety of fauna, including species such as the spiny-tailed lizard, the sand viper and the desert fox. Of particular significance is the existence of the Khamlia people, a community of 300 inhabitants that combines Arabs, Berbers and other tribes of sub-Saharan origin.
This small village has a number of legends that may captivate the curious. Divine punishment, sandstorms and nomadic peoples are the main themes.
