Step by Step
Take this tour of the Etna volcano in a different way thanks to this 4x4 activity. In addition to driving along its paths in your own 4x4 vehicle, you will also be accompanied by a tour guide during the approximately 6 hours that the experience lasts. This activity is available every day of the week and every day of the year .
Departure is from Catania, from where the volcano is about 40 km away. This distance will not be a problem as transfers to and from the volcano are included.
With your tour guide you will walk around the volcano and make short stops to observe the volcano in more detail. During these breaks you will also learn about different aspects of Etna, such as its volcanological history, its geology, fauna and even its flora.
Throughout the tour you will also savour delicious snacks that are made on the slopes of the volcano. These are included in the experience and will include honey, wines and liquors. Another activity on this tour will be to enter a lava cave for which you will be provided with helmets and torches.
