Step by Step

Enjoy a day at sea with this traditional boat trip with lunch and wine departing from the port of Vlychada. In an experience that lasts around five hours, you will have the opportunity to relax on a traditional sailing boat called a caique in a small group of around ten people to get to know the caldera of Santorini. Swim at Red Beach, snorkel and have lunch with unlimited beer, wine and soft drinks.

The Santorini Caldera is located in the Aegean Sea and was formed some 3,600 years ago as a result of a volcanic eruption that caused the central part of the island of Santorini to collapse. In fact, it was one of the largest eruptions in history.

But today it has become a popular tourist destination, known for its breathtaking views and picturesque villages, such as Oia, where you have the option of going to admire the sunset, as well as Fira or Imerovigli.

From the caique, traditional wooden sailing boats with a flat bottom, you will be offered snorkelling equipment to admire the seabed. You will also have the opportunity to bathe in the hot springs, which are located in the village of Palea Kameni, a small island in the centre of the volcanic caldera.

At one of the stops you can enjoy a traditional Mediterranean lunch on a terrace, with the option of a vegetarian lunch, as well as unlimited white wine and soft drinks.

On this day you can also swim at Red Beach, a beach that owes its name to the colour of the sand, which is a deep red due to the volcanic rocks and minerals in the area. Also, you won't have to worry about transport, as the transfer to and from your hotel in a luxury minibus is included.
