Step by Step

This catamaran sunset cruise around Santorini is designed to give you one of the island's most iconic experiences in the utmost comfort. The evening starts with a pick-up from your hotel, flat or villa and a minibus will take you to the port of Vlychada, in the south of the island. There you will embark on a fully equipped Lagoon 450 catamaran, prepared to offer a smooth and comfortable sailing.

Once on board, you will be toasted with a welcome drink as the boat moves away from the harbour and starts to sail along the coast. The first stop is the Red Beach area, where you can swim or snorkel next to the spectacular reddish volcanic cliffs. The sailing continues past White Beach, Indian Rocks, the Venetian lighthouse and the south coast, allowing you to see landscapes from the sea that can only be fully appreciated from the water.

The catamaran then enters the volcanic caldera of Santorini, one of the most striking landscapes in the world. Here you will stop near the Hot Springs, where you can swim in the warm, sulphur-rich waters, ideal for those looking for something different. Later, the boat sets course for the island of Thirasia, a haven of tranquillity with incredible views of the caldera, where you'll have another chance to swim and snorkel in crystal clear waters.

While you enjoy the sea, the crew will prepare a freshly cooked Greek dinner on board, with dishes such as traditional moussaka, seafood pasta, chicken and sausage BBQ, tzatziki, Santorini fava, dolmadakia, Greek salad, cheeses and dessert, accompanied by an open bar of white wine, beer, soft drinks and water. It's the perfect time to relax on deck, chat and savour the local cuisine in a unique setting.

The cherry on top of the day comes at the end of the cruise, when the catamaran sails back to Vlychada as you watch the Santorini sunset from the sea, away from the crowds. The sky is tinged with shades of orange, pink and gold over the caldera, creating one of those moments that will stay with you forever. When you arrive back at the harbour, your transport will be waiting to take you back to your accommodation, bringing to a close an afternoon of sailing, volcanic landscapes and good food in the Aegean.

A beautiful and very complete experience for an afternoon. Sailing along the south coast, entering the caldera and ending with the sunset... it's a yes. I would only say that the smell of sulphur in the hot springs is strong, but that's part of the charm.

I was a bit scared to get into the water at the stops, but in the end, I went for it and it was the best thing. In Thirasia the water was crystal clear. Greek dinner was very tasty and the white wine was a perfect accompaniment.

I liked the fact that everything was "closed": pick-up, boat, dinner, return to the accommodation. No worries. The crew was super friendly and the atmosphere was quite calm, no heavy partying.

Very good experience, especially the surroundings: caldera, Thirasia, the colours of the sky... The food was delicious and freshly made on board. I did want to spend more time at Red Beach, though.
