If you are looking for a quiet, outdoor place to visit in Buenos Aires during the spring, the Bosques de Palermo are an excellent option. At this time of the year, they are full of life and color, becoming a natural oasis in the middle of the city.

The Bosques de Palermo are a set of parks and gardens of 80 hectares located, as its name suggests, in the beautiful neighborhood of Palermo. It is one of the most visited places, both by tourists and locals, due to its great natural beauty, lakes and trails. To make the most of this incredible place, you can book a bike tour of Buenos Aires, and ride it from end to end.

During the spring, the Palermo Woods are filled with flowers, especially its imposing Rose Garden, making it one of the most romantic and charming places in the city. Strolling along the paths, enjoying the sun and nature and discovering every corner of the park is an experience not to be missed if you visit Buenos Aires during this wonderful time of the year.

    2. Spend a day outdoors in the enchanting Tigre Delta

Tigre is a charming and colorful city, located on the banks of the exotic Paraná Delta. It is only an hour by train from the Retiro neighborhood, and is an ideal destination to spend a relaxing day and enjoy the blooming nature of spring. A day trip to El Tigre from Buenos Aires will leave you in love with the place.

El Puerto de Frutos is one of the main attractions of the city. In the past, this place used to be the disembarkation point for fruits and vegetables coming from different places. Nowadays, it is a handicrafts market with a great variety of products made of wicker, reed and pine. In addition, there are several restaurants and cafes to enjoy the breathtaking view of the river.

If you book an excursion to the Tigre delta you will be able to see the nature of the delta and the houses built on stilts that are typical of the area. And if you want a dose of adrenaline, I recommend the Tigre Casino, the Parque de la Costa or the Tren de la Costa.

The Night of the Museums is an annual celebration in which many of the art galleries, cultural centers and the best museums in Buenos Aires open their doors for extended hours, allowing visitors free access to exhibitions, collections and special events in a festive and welcoming atmosphere. The event takes place during the spring, usually in the month of November, and offers a unique opportunity to get to know the cultural richness of the city.

During the Night of the Museums, in addition to the usual exhibitions and collections, museums usually organize special activities, such as concerts, film screenings, art workshops and other proposals that will offer you a different experience. One of my favorites is the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires, although I recommend you book a guided tour of Buenos Aires with a visit to MALBA, which is how it is known by its acronym, if you do not want to miss any detail.

The Night of the Museums is a celebration that attracts thousands of visitors every year. So, if you are in the city in spring, don't miss this unique opportunity to get to know the culture, history and arts of Buenos Aires in a festive and pleasant atmosphere.

If you plan to travel to Buenos Aires during the spring months, you can't miss La Noche de las Heladerías, an activity organized by the Asociación Fabricantes Artesanales de Helados that takes place once a year during the spring, usually in September.

During the night, ice cream parlors open their doors until the wee hours of the morning and offer special promotions, discounts and free tastings of their best flavors. Every year dozens of ice cream parlors in Buenos Aires participate, including some of the most nationally and internationally recognized ones. The Hindu Ratha Yatra festival is one of the most important cultural events of the Hindu community in Buenos Aires, and takes place in the month of November, in the middle of spring. Annually, it is held in a square of the city (the location may vary from one year to another), where you can share with your family the typical traditions of India.

The festival has a wide program of activities and shows related to the Hindu culture. Music, outdoor yoga, classical Indian dances, Ayurvedic cooking classes, meditation, mantra chanting, sacred theater and workshops for children. There is also a fair with stands of Hindu clothing and accessories, decorative objects, books on Vedic philosophy, natural cosmetics and healthy food trucks.

A nice day trip from Buenos Aires, ideal for springtime, is to visit the beautiful Uruguayan city of Colonia del Sacramento. With its charming historic center, rich culture and location on the banks of the Rio de la Plata, Colonia is a perfect destination.

Visiting Colonia is one of the best day trips to Uruguay from Buenos Aires. The best option is to take a fast ferry from the port and, after an hour, you will have reached your destination. In the Uruguayan city you can enjoy a day full of history, culture and good food.

One of the main attractions of Colonia is its historic center, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. What is the spring weather like in Buenos Aires?

Spring in Buenos Aires starts at the end of September and lasts until mid-December. In general, the weather during this season is very pleasant, ideal for walking and sightseeing. During the day, temperatures usually range between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius, although there may be warmer days. Nights during the early spring can be a little cool, with temperatures around 12-15 degrees.

Therefore, what I recommend is that you wear comfortable and light clothing, as during the day it is hot and it can be uncomfortable to walk with heavy clothes. Bermuda shorts, t-shirts, skirts and dresses are a good option. Of course, don't forget to bring a light coat for the evening. I also recommend you to wear comfortable and cool shoes, since you will be walking a lot to get to know the city.

The white tiger left me impressed, it is a most majestic animal and I don't think I could see it in the wild so close without being in danger of death.
