Step by Step

Enjoy the capital of the United States in a different and fun way, aboard a bicycle at night, on a tour of approximately 3 hours and 8 kilometres. A professional guide will narrate the stories behind each of the points of interest you visit, such as:

  • Vietnam War Memorial: it was built to commemorate the armed forces that were present in the Vietnam struggle.
  • Lincoln Memorial: a work of the architect Henry Bacon with a height of 30 metres, built as a symbol of the union of the states after the American Civil War.
  • World War II Memorial: was built as a tribute to the millions of people who served in the US armed forces during the Second World War.
  • The White House: the presidential house was built by architect James Hoban. It is one of the most historic monuments in the country and is home to many anecdotes, scandals and, of course, architectural transformations over the years.

The bike comes equipped with a helmet, reflective waistcoat and headlights, so that you travel comfortably and safely throughout the tour.

It's a perfect plan for adults and children. If you need a towing carriage to carry your child in case they get tired on the tour, you can request it at the start of the tour.

I think one of the best things about this tour is that they don't discriminate based on ability, size or age. I went with my 14 year old son and he loved it.

The tour we took was worth every dollar paid. We learned as well as had fun and it is very difficult to achieve that balance.
