Experience Highlights

Step by Step

Tour and learn about the Princes Islands with this excursion departing from Istanbul. Pick-up and drop-off is at the door of your hotel if you are staying in the city centre. From there you will be taken to the port whereall the necessaryferry rides are included in the experience.

You will be accompanied by a local tour guide who will be in charge of leading the group for the approximately 8 hours of the experience. Due to the length of the excursion, lunch is included, which consists of 4 dishes made with seasonal ingredients.

Before arriving on the island, you will be able to see some of the most important monuments of the city from the boat. These include the Maiden's Tower, a building on an islet 200 m off the coast, or Galata Tower. As well as seeing them, you will also learn about them from the guide's commentary.

Once you arrive at the islands you will also have free time to explore them on your own. You can take your swimming costume and take a dip in the sea, or if you prefer you can wander more of the streets on your own and go into different shops or stalls.

    Heybeli and Buyukada were my favorite islands. They gave us enough free time to enjoy at our own pace and take good pictures. In addition to the restaurants there are several lovely souvenir stores.
