Experience Highlights

Discover one of the world’s most important collections of Chinese art with these tickets to the National Palace Museum in Taipei. Its galleries bring together centuries of history through paintings, calligraphy, porcelain, jade artefacts, bronzes and objects linked to the great Chinese dynasties.

You can choose from three different options. The first includes admission to the museum with an audio guide, whilst the other two are combined tickets with either the Shung Ye Museum of Formosan Aborigines or the Yehliu Geopark.

It is important to note that the National Palace Museum’s audio guide is only included in the specific ‘entrance with audio guide’ option. The combined options do not include this service at the main museum.

  • Explore the National Palace Museum and discover centuries of Chinese art and history
  • Choose the audio guide option if you’d like a more comprehensive tour of the museum
  • Combine your ticket with the Shung Ye Museum or the Yehliu Geopark

What’s included

  • Audio guide for the National Palace Museum (if you choose this option)

Step by Step

The National Palace Museum is one of Taipei’s major cultural attractions. Its collection preserves artefacts linked to centuries of Chinese history and allows visitors to explore different artistic periods through porcelain, jade, paintings, calligraphy, bronzes and other historical objects.

If you choose the audio guide option, you can explore the museum at your own pace whilst listening to explanations that provide context about the artefacts and collections. This is the only option that includes this service.

You can also enhance your cultural experience with the option that includes the Shung Ye Museum of Formosan Aborigines, dedicated to Taiwan’s indigenous peoples and their traditions, customs and heritage.

The third option combines entry to the National Palace Museum with the Yehliu Geopark, a coastal landscape renowned for its rock formations shaped by erosion.

All three options include admission to the National Palace Museum, but only the first one includes an audio guide. If you choose either of the other two packages, your visit to the main museum will not include an audio guide.
