Step by Step

Get your ticket for Casa Milá, also known as La Pedrera, one of Gaudí’s most iconic monuments. You’ll be able to admire the incredible interiors at your own pace on a tour of the 4,500 square metres spread over five floors. During the tour, you’ll discover everything the building has to offer thanks to the included audio guide.

Designed between 1906 and 1912 and designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, La Pedrera is one of Barcelona’s icons and also the last civil engineering project by the architect Antoni Gaudí. Around one million tourists visit this Modernist building every year, making it one of Barcelona’s top tourist attractions.

You’ll be able to explore every nook and cranny of the interior with an audio guide lasting approximately one and a half hours , allowing you to discover the architect’s entire body of work and his sources of inspiration. You’ll visit the grand courtyards of La Pedrera, lavishly decorated with murals and mosaics.

The Courtyard of Flowers and the Courtyard of Butterflies represent Gaudí’s connection with nature, the source of inspiration for all his works. You’ll gain access to the Exhibition Hall, the former residence of the building’s owners, the Milà family.

As you make your way through the different floors, you’ll discover the incredible ‘whale’s attic’, situated in the loft of Casa Milà. This magical space, featuring 270 catenary arches reminiscent of a whale’s skeleton, houses the only exhibition dedicated to Gaudí and his entire body of work. Through photographs, models and plans, you’ll learn about the characteristics of his architecture and the genius of his works.

You’ll enter the La Pedrera flat, a recreation of an original early 20th-century bourgeois residential flat. Before ending your visit, you can head up to the ‘Roof of the Warriors’ and marvel at the spiral chimneys. From the roof of Casa Milà, you’ll be able to enjoy spectacular views of the whole city of Barcelona.
