Step by Step

This tour to the Cape of Good Hope will give you an unforgettable experience of contact with nature lasting about 8 to 9 hours. You will depart from Cape Town in an air-conditioned minibus accompanied by a driver, who will also be your guide, and a small group of other travellers.

You will enter the Table Mountain National Park reserve, where you will see the local flora and fauna at its best: birds, monkeys, penguins and a myriad of other species coexist in this historic area, located in the far south of South Africa.

Amidst breathtaking cliffs and rugged hills, battered by the waves and swept by the African wind, you will visit the most iconic points of the Cape of Good Hope route, among them:

  • Bo-kaap: learn about the impressive history of freedom and reclamation in this neighbourhood, also famous for its quaint, colourful houses and cobblestone streets.
  • Camps Bay: This beautiful cove is home to one of the busiest beaches. From here you can see Lion's Head Mountain and "the twelve apostles", the rock formations of Table Mountain.
  • Hout Bay Harbour: here you will see a spectacular marketplace full of culture and tradition.
  • Chapman's Peak: from the Chapman's Peak road, you will enjoy an unparalleled panoramic view of places such as Hout Bay, Noordhoek and The Sentinel Peak.
  • Duiker Island: as an optional tour, you can take a ferry to Duiker Island to see the South African seal colonies. The trip takes approximately 45 minutes.
  • Simon's Town: see this charming little town, which is home to a South African armed forces naval base and museum .
  • Boulder's Beach: interact with the beautiful African penguins on this beach.

After the road trip, when you arrive at the Cape of Good Hope you'll have the opportunity to do a variety of activities: stroll along the white sandy beaches, go hiking or visit the sign with the coordinates of the site, a great spot to take a photo with the scenery in the background.

You can also look out from several viewpoints to be dazzled by the grandeur of the ocean and take a funicular railway, which will take you very close to the old lighthouse. And if you're passionate about monuments, you can try looking for the crosses dedicated to the explorers Vasco da Gama and Bartolomé Díaz.

The tour includes transfer to and from selected hotels in Cape Town. If your accommodation is not on the list, you can head to a central meeting point to join the experience.

We were able to take amazing pictures with the scenery. It is perfect for cultural tourism. You learn a lot about everything related to the customs in a very short time.

Too long a ride, an hour less on the route would make it perfect.
