Step by Step

Getting around Lisbon quickly, comfortably and without missing the essentials is possible. See for yourself with this one-hour tuk tuk tuk tour with a local guide and a stop at the most emblematic places of the Portuguese capital. You will discover Lisbon and you will do it only with your companions, as it is a private tour.

During the tour, you will visit places such as the Alfama district. This is one of the oldest districts of the Portuguese capital. Here you will find the National Pantheon, a baroque-style building that serves as a burial place for famous Portuguese people, or the Portas do Sol viewpoint, from where you can get one of the most beautiful panoramic views of Alfama.

You will also discover Lisbon's Praça do Comércio, the city's nerve centre. It was the site of the Royal Palace, which was destroyed by the 1755 earthquake. You will be able to see the Rua Augusta Arch or the equestrian statue of the Portuguese monarch José I, who reigned in Portugal at the time of the earthquake.

Lisbon Cathedral will have no secrets for you either. Also known as the Sé Cathedral, it is one of the few monuments that have survived the various catastrophes that have devastated the city. Its construction was completed in the 12th century, and it was built on the site of a former mosque.

The Plaza de los Restauradores is another of the places you can visit. In the middle of it stands an obelisk, the work of António Tomás da Fonseca, which pays homage to a key event in Portugal's history: the independence achieved by the Restorers in 1640.

You will also get the best views of Lisbon at the Mirador da Senhora do Monte. From the top, you can see practically the entire capital: St. George's Castle, the Convento do Carmo, the Santa Justa elevator, the entire Baixa, the great avenues of the Marquês de Pombal area, etc.
