From a central location in Lisbon, you will travel to the north of Portugal in an air-conditioned minivan and visit one of Portugal's most historic sites. You will take a boat trip to Almourol Castle, one of the most emblematic monuments of the Reconquest. Built on a small island in the middle of the Tagus River, you will visit this castle erected in 1171 on the orders of Gualdim Pais, the Grand Master of the Order of the Knights Templar.

During this excursion of about 9 hours, you will explore the charming Portuguese village of Constância, famous for being the residence of Luis de Camões, the famous Portuguese writer and poet, where he wrote some of his lyrical poems.
