Step by Step

Immerse yourself in the marine life of Albufeira on a diving excursion for beginners. For approximately 3 hours, an expert guide will accompany you on the activity.

First you will receive an introductory lesson, with theory and practice, and you will make a first dive in a pool where the guide will show you how the safety exercises should be performed.

Then head out to sea aboard a boat to a natural reef where you will dive with your guide/instructor to explore the fauna and flora of Albufeira. There will be one instructor for every 2 people.

The dive lasts approximately 30 minutes and you will dive to a depth of about 12 metres in the water.

At the end you will receive an official SSI certification valid for 6 months to dive up to 12 metres accompanied by an instructor.

The activity includes all the equipment necessary to carry it out and guarantee the safety of all participants.

  • All participants must complete a health questionnaire before diving.
  • Knowing how to swim is essential
  • In case of cancellation due to adverse weather conditions or not reaching the minimum number of participants for the activity, a change of date or a full refund of the amount paid will be offered.
  • For safety reasons, children under 10 years old and 1.40 m tall are not allowed to participate in the activity.
  • The operator is not responsible for activities aborted by clients due to fear, misconduct, unpunctuality or failure to follow required diving procedures or other situations beyond the instructor's control. In these cases there is no refund
  • Not suitable for pregnant women, travellers with back problems, or travellers with heart conditions or other serious medical problems.
  • Diving is not recommended within 48 hours after the flight.
  • Not wheelchair accessible
