Step by Step

Your experience begins at the main entrance, where your private guide checks digital tickets and hands out listening radios if the group exceeds eight people. As soon as you cross the portico, the Pyramid of Kukulkan rises before your eyes; here you'll discuss Mayan mathematics and the light phenomenon of the equinox without rushing or crowding.

You will then walk to the Great Ball Court, discovering the perfect acoustics of its walls and the ceremonial rules of pok-ta-pok, while the guide adapts the narrative to your interests: astronomy, engineering, mythology or daily life.

The tour continues through the Temple of the Warriors and the Forest of a Thousand Columns, where reliefs of jaguars and eagles devouring hearts are revealed. Thanks to the private format, you can stop to photograph details or ask questions on the spot.

The tour concludes by the path leading to the Sacred Cenote. There you will hear stories of offerings to Chaac and the archaeological expeditions that recovered jade jewellery and gold pieces. At the end of the tour, the guide advises the best routes to continue exploring on your own, buy obsidian handicrafts or taste chaya water at the local stalls.
