Experience Highlights
Enjoy one of the best panoramic views of Kuala Lumpur with tickets to the KL Tower, an ideal experience for admiring the city from above and choosing the type of visit that best suits you. You can choose to access only the Observation Deck, which is the indoor viewing platform; only the Sky Terrace, which is the outdoor viewing platform; or opt for a combination of both viewing platforms for a more complete experience.
Tickets are also categorised by visitor type, with separate rates for Malaysians and non-Malaysians, so it is important to select the correct option when booking. The visit allows you to enjoy 360-degree views of the city from one of Kuala Lumpur’s most iconic towers.
Please note that access to the Sky Box is not included in these tickets and can only be purchased on-site. Furthermore, the duration of your visit is limited depending on the area chosen: approximately 20 minutes on the Observation Deck and 45 minutes on the Sky Terrace.

Step by Step
The KL Tower is one of Kuala Lumpur’s major viewing points and a highly recommended visit for those who wish to admire the city from a privileged vantage point. Standing 421 metres tall, this tower offers a truly captivating panoramic experience both by day and at sunset, with sweeping views of the skyline and some of the Malaysian capital’s most recognisable landmarks.
There are three different ways to enjoy the experience. The first option is the Observation Deck, which is the indoor viewing platform, ideal for those who prefer a comfortable and sheltered panoramic visit. The second is the Sky Terrace, which is the outdoor viewing platform, perfect for those who want to feel the height in the open air and enjoy a more open experience. There is also a combined option, which includes the Observation Deck and the Sky Terrace for those wishing to access both areas in a single visit.
Another important point is that tickets are categorised as either for Malaysian nationals or non-Malaysians, so it’s advisable to check this carefully before booking. Upon collection, Malaysian visitors must present a valid identity document, and in all cases, you must show the voucher on your mobile phone along with ID to collect your printed ticket.
If you’re thinking of adding an extra experience, it’s worth noting that the Sky Box – the famous glass platform jutting out from the exterior – isn’t included in the ticket options you sell and is only available for purchase on site. It’s also important to bear in mind that entry is on a first-come, first-served basis, so you’ll be allocated the first available time slot.
All in all, this is a very flexible visit, perfect for tailoring the experience to your travel style: a more classic option at the indoor viewing platform, a more thrilling one at the outdoor viewing platform, or a combination of both to enjoy the KL Tower to the full.
Reviews
- LL.More than recommended. The view from the tower is breathtaking and at a very good price. It has been one of the best value for money observatories I have visited. Usually they are super expensive!
- DD.A highlight in Kuala Lumpur, impossible to miss.
- VV.The view of the city from the top of the tower is breathtaking. Even though I went alone, the people who were there helped me with the photos and they were top!
- EE.It's like the fourth time I've been here because the price is super affordable. This time we came at night and the night lights gave it a special magic.
