Step by Step
Discover the Sicilian city of Taormina and the small village of Castelmola on a guided day trip through the most emblematic and historical areas.
Your local guide will take you to see the wonderful sights of the village of Castelmola, considered a jewel of the province of Messina. You will be able to admire Mount Etna from there.
You will also tour and pass close to the most renowned areas and places of interest of Taormina such as:
- Greek Theatre: one of the symbols of the city, it has incredible architecture and was built in the excavation of a mountain, on top of the hill with the Mediterranean Sea in the background.
- Corso Umberto: one of the main and picturesque streets of Taormina, where you will find many shops and restaurants.
- Duomo di Taormina: an important medieval church built in the 18th century on the ruins of a church from the Middle Ages.
- Piazza IX Aprile: one of Taormina's most renowned squares, surrounded by churches and offering a wonderful view of the town's beaches.
