Step by Step

This tour allows you to visit two unmissable attractions around Naples: the Archaeological Park of Pompeii and the island of Capri. The tour runs three days a week and includes transfers from the hotel, as well as from the port and the central railway station. The tour lasts approximately 8 hours and includes an expert guide.

Normally, the first stop is Pompeii, which is about half an hour from the town of Vesuvius. Once you arrive, you will learn about the history of this place and its main attractions:

  • Terme Stabiane - Superbly preserved, like the other Roman baths, they consist of three main rooms - calidarium, tepidarium and frigidarium - plus gymnasium and changing rooms. They were built around 80 BC.
  • House of the Faun - What remains of a large architectural complex covering an area of 3000 m2. It has many rooms, but it is not known whether it was a residence for a wealthy person or an inn. It takes its name from a statue in the garden depicting a patron deity of the countryside.
  • Forum - The nerve centre of the ancient city. It is surrounded by the most important public buildings: the temples of Apollo, Jupiter and Vespasian, colonnades, workshops and statues.

After the visit, you will get back on the bus to the port of Naples. Here you will take the hydrofoil to reach the island quickly. Once on land, you can easily reach the Piazzetta, the epicentre of social life. To admire the view, you can take the funicular that connects the Piazzetta with the port of Marina Grande. This is the departure point for excursions to the island's most famous attraction, the Grotta Azzurra.

Capri has a lot to offer. You can also walk to the ruins of Villa Jovis (built by Emperor Tiberius), admire the Faraglioni or go to the town of Anacapri. From Anacapri it is possible to take the cable car to the top of Monte Solaro.
