Step by Step

Plan your visit to the Uffizi Gallery with a skip-the-line ticket and enjoy a two-hour guided tour of the Medici family's gallery. Enter this extensive gallery and explore fifty rooms with over 1800 paintings, sculptures and antiques in small groups of around 9 people .

The Uffizi Gallery, located in the heart of Florence, is one of the most famous painting collections in the world, given the rich amount of masterpieces it holds inside, mostly from the Renaissance period. A professional guide will lead you through the works of the greatest Renaissance masters. You will contemplate paintings such as the "Birth of Venus" and "Spring" by Botticelli. You will admire Michelangelo's "Tondo Doni" , one of the jewels of the Italian Cinquecento, and Caravaggio's "Head of Medusa".

As you walk through the museum you will also find Greek and Roman statues, drawings and prints. On your tour of the galleries you will be provided with headphones to enhance your listening to the guide about the history of these works dating from the 12th to the 17th century.

After your visit to the galleries you will have extra time to explore the museum at your own pace or to spend more time gazing at stunning paintings. On one side of the Uffizi Gallery, you will see the imposing Palazzo Vecchio, one of the most famous symbols of Florence, overlooking the wonderful Piazza della Signoria. Pass through the liveliest area of Florence and see the symbol that pervades the whole of Florence, the Ponte Vecchio with its houses and shops hanging over the Arno River.

Make the most of your visit to this iconic museum and pop into the Uffizi Gallery shop where you can buy souvenirs, books and paintings.

It is ideal that this tour is for small groups, as we were able to enjoy the tour at our leisure, ask questions and learn as much as we wanted.

I learned a lot from this experience, even though I was accompanied by my elderly mother and my youngest daughter. All 3 of us enjoyed it and were very entertained.

Despite the large number of people, the whole organization was very good and we did not feel overwhelmed at any time. We were guided phenomenally.

In my group there were 3 of us and we were accompanied by an additional group of 2. Basically it felt like a private tour, accompanied by a very good guide.
